SITUATION
The Schönhauser Allee Arcaden is located in the heart of a vibrant Berlin district called Prenzlauer Berg. This shopping center perfectly blends into the existing atmosphere of small shops, restaurants and cafés. What’s more, since 1999 it has been the most well known and popular shopping area on the traditional Schönhauser Allee, with a daily customer frequency of 30,000.
The Schönhauser Allee Arcaden project was realized in cooperation with mfi, Essen and the Bayerische Landesbank (the Bavarian State Bank) within a period of just two years.
LOCATION
The Schönhauser Allee Arcaden shopping center is located in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg where two commuter rail lines cross. It is at a prime location in the main shopping area of Schönhauser Allee, which is a major Berlin boulevard that runs north-south and crosses two main thoroughfares that run east-west through the district of Prenzlauer Berg.
TRANSPORTATION
With over 350 parking spots in the car park of the Schönhauser Allee Arcaden, customers find it extremely convenient to drive to the shopping center. It can also be reached from all directions on S-Bahn commuter lines 41, 42, 85 and 8, U-Bahn underground rail line 2, and tram line M1.
RETAIL SPACE
The Schönhauser Allee Arcaden shopping center has over 100 shops and restaurants on 3 floors with a total rental surface area of 25,200 sq m. Tenants include many attractive and well known brands from all sectors.
